Thermocromic Inks are inks that react with heat.

When heat is applied to the ink (usually by placing a finger or thumb over the reaction area) as soon as the ink reaches the set temperature level it will fade, this change happens very quickly.

When the heat dissipates the ink then returns to its normal level.

This is a useful security feature which can be used again and again.

The ink can be any colour and can occupy almost any design, when placed correctly as a security feature it often goes un-noticed.

The ink can be set to react at various levels, so if your event is going to be in a colder or warmer setting, the heat release level can be set accordingly for the best possible reaction.

Below is an example of a before and after of a Thermocromic ink in action.

Strong Black is the starting colour.
